About Me
Hello. I am a descendant by way of the marriage of Sarah Hallman (Heilman) and David Ashenfelter (Ashalter). Sarah's Father was Isaac Hallman and Mother was Rebecca Isett. I have been researching my family since I retired about 7 years ago. I've joined several lineal groups and hope to prove my ancestry for posterity. Hi Sharon, I do not know anything about Rebecca Isett. I only have two Rebecca Isett's and neither of them fit. I have many, many Frederick Isett names. I have a Frederick Isett, Jr. married to Mary Hallman abt. 1805. He was the son of a Frederick Isett, Sr. and Rebecca Markley. I also have an Isaac Hallman (1765-1845) married to Elizabeth Isett (1769-1836). Elizabeth is the daughter of Frederick Sr. and Rebecca. Is it possible one of us has the dates and/or names wrong and your Rebecca and my Elizabeth is one in the same? Maybe she was Rebecca Elizabeth Isett or Elizabeth Rebecca Isett. What do you think? Am I in the right Hallman family with my names above?
