Genealogy of the Woodcock Valley

I  retired from Hillsborough Co., Tampa, Fl Schools as an Assistant Kindergarten Teacher in 2009.   After 24 years with little 5 and 6 year olds,  it's time to move on!   

I am married to John Corio  (47 yrs) ,  with two grown children - Angela 41 yrs old and Vincent 33 years old.  We have one grandaughter and another one due in August 2013 and   two step grandchildren.  They keep us very busy!

My hobbies are Genealogy and Jewelry making  -  Wire Art Sculpturing, . I have done several craft shows in the Tampa area at local church Boutiques. 

 I've also completed many binder books of family info and placed at Genealogical Society in Blair County, Pa.

 John and  I also do a lot of walking and traveling  since we are both retired. 

My "brickwall"  is Henry HUGHS/HUGHES b. c. 1800 in Ireland who married Martha Jane (unknown).  Henry could be a middle name that he went by - possible first name - James or John!    Martha may have a maiden name of "Davis" - my GGGrandfather was John Davis Hughs/Hughes b. 1825 in Centre Co., Pa.  He also lived in Huntingdon, Pa before finally settling in Altoona.
