Samuel Wilson Norris (1840-1919) was a member of Co. C of the 53rd PA Volunteer Infantry, and was a prisoner at Andersonville.

This photo/painting was done about 1861. I have the original, a 15 x 20 inch image on what appears to be a kind of soft cardboard. If a painting, it was colorized by some process.
