Anthony J. Beaver (1832-1899) wrote this letter to his brother, presumably David Beaver. Anthony served with Co. C of the 53rd PVI, and was located in Philadelphia at the time of this letter. He mentions Davis Enyeart at the end of the letter, as well as some other local names. This letter was shared with me by Anthony's great-granddaughter, Joanne Sauter
