I recently found a news article from 1907 that states "The names of the four men who captured the horse thief near Finks Bridge recently are Luther McCall, Herman McCall, Lawrence Fisher, and Ralph Knupp. They are all employed on the lumber job at that place. The men guarded the rascal well until the deputies arrived." I wonder if Ralph Knupp is the same as Clair Knupp above, or maybe a brother...
