David, Oct. 17, 1812 - Dec. 3, 1893, was the 4th son and 7th child of Joseph Norris, Jr., and Elizabeth Enyeart Norris.

He was the last person buried at the Norris family cemetery near the Raystown Branch in Penn Township. Cemetery graves were removed to the White Church Cemetery before the filling of Raystown Lake in the early 1970s.
