This item was found in an old book owned by my great grandfather Pvt James Strong, Co. C, 53rd Pa Vol Inf. It is a linen doily. I gave it to my cousin John R Houser whose great grandfather was J F N Householder. It appears to be a doily used at the 50th Wedding Anniv of Mr Householder in May 1909.
