I cannot take any of the credit. Mr. Lynn Schoepske has been researching the Hamer family for decades and it was he that found that picture and shared it with me, along with the names of the other gentlemen in the picture. I will ask, but I do not believe any information is known about the other men. (I will do a better job of documenting the sources of my information and pictures.)
Were any of the other men, beside John Hamer, local to Huntingdon County? I don't really recognize the names. They could be men from other areas who served with him. It's wonderful that you have all the names.
