This photo was shared with me by Sedgely Thornbury. In 1994, Sedgely Thornbury wrote, "I ran across the enclosed picture taken at the flagpole of Diamond Valley CCC Camp in 1933. A few years ago I visited the spot and found the millstone base still in place. Perhaps it is still there. It is located just down the hill from the officer's quarters which I guess is still in use. All the rest of the buildings are long gone. I was then a 2nd Lt. and am to the right. The camp commander is on the left. He was a Captain but I don't remember his name. The gentleman and his son in the center I believe was with the Forestry Service."
