I married into the Garner family from Marklesburg.  My name is Kim Rupert-Garner and I grew up in Petersburg, PA.  I have been researching my husband, John's, family as well as my own.  My husband comes from the John Michael Garner family.  My roots are from the Garlock family.  Thanks for the website and all member's contribution.

Researching Brumbach Family, specifically Jacob and Johannes.

I was born and live on the west coast of Scotland, started my family research around 2009 and with a bit of help was very successful.  I discovered via Debbie's hard work with this site that some of my Kiltie ancestors from Scotland had settled in Huntingdon and Margaret Kiltie had married John E Hoover of  McConnelstown.  Margaret B Hoover passed away in 1960 and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Braddock.

I would really like to know more about their lives, for instance the fact that they operated a fish market in Huntingdon, there has to be many stories regarding this, and above all a photo of the family, but  I think this may be too much to expect or hope for.

My thanks to Debbie, without her posts I would never have known where in the U.S.A. my ancestors had settled.
