About Me
I was born and live on the west coast of Scotland, started my family research around 2009 and with a bit of help was very successful. I discovered via Debbie's hard work with this site that some of my Kiltie ancestors from Scotland had settled in Huntingdon and Margaret Kiltie had married John E Hoover of McConnelstown. Margaret B Hoover passed away in 1960 and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Braddock. I would really like to know more about their lives, for instance the fact that they operated a fish market in Huntingdon, there has to be many stories regarding this, and above all a photo of the family, but I think this may be too much to expect or hope for. My thanks to Debbie, without her posts I would never have known where in the U.S.A. my ancestors had settled. Best Regards Celtie |
