I am always trying to find out more about mt GGGGGrandfather, George Reynolds. He died in Huntingdon in 1788 or so. I have history on him but I would like to know where he came from. I think Scotland. He came over with Braddock and fought and was wounded with Braddock. Given land in Woodcock Valley and lived in Huntingdon when he died of a heart attach one morni ng in apparently a neighbors yard. He had three children with first wife and 8 with Margaretta, his second. Anything on him would be so appreciated. Thank you.

I attended Bowers school from 1st grade until it closed in 1950. My teachers were Edythe Grubb and Amelia Hampton. I have class pictures form those years. I now live in Tucson AZ. Several family members are buried in the Old Stone Church Cemetary.

Thank you. Great documentation of old Shultz Cemetery. My husband and I have been there but it was so over run with poison ivy that we did not actually go into it. Just took pictures from a distance. Shultz is in my ancestry through Mary Shultz, d/o Henry. She married David Hoover, s/o Christian. All from Huntingdon Co, PA. David and Mary moved on to Indiana.

Hi my name is Ben Johnson. I'm interested in Woodcock Valley because I recently learned that my mom's side of the family ,surname Lang, was from McConnelstown. Patrick and Washington Lang are the oldest of the relatives but I don't have anyone else before Patrick and would love to learn more about the Lang's of this area.
