Genealogy of the Woodcock Valley

I am researching the Berkstresser/Carson/Stone families.  Fred Berkstresser, born 1804-1806, married Elizabeth Carson on 2/14/1839, both listed as from Hopewell.  There is a great deal of Berkstresser family data, but I have been unable to officially determine Fred's father.  I have found information about George and Henry Berkstresser of Huntingdon County in the 1700's, but cannot find reference to Fred in wills, etc.  I wonder if there was an early, short marriage or relationship for one of them which might be documented somewhere.  Fred had one son, George W. Berkstresser, born 1843, who also lived in Huntingdon County. He married Mary Stone 0n 2/7/1867 at the German Reformed Church in Marklesburg.  Please contact me if you have any information about Fred.  Thanks! 

Lori, was Mary Stone the daughter of Adam Stone and Elizabeth Houpt?  I do not list a husband for her, but her dates would be right to be the wife of George W. Berkstresser.
