If you enter a date in a post, like (1801-1888), it sees the end parenthesis as a smiley face and converts it into an image.  So, you can either enter dates as 1801-1888 or try something like {1801-1888} or [1801-1888].  Or, I have even been known to enter it is (1801-188eight)!  I just wanted to let you know what is going on if you post and then see a smiley face in your post.

Yeah...I needed an eight and all I kept getting was a smiley, so I finally gave up trying to get rid of the smiley and just typed out the word eight.
