Genealogy of the Woodcock Valley

Does anyone know anything about Charles Stapleton?  He at one time had a relationship with Jackson Fisher's daughter, Sarah Blanche. Sarah Blanch (Fisher) Rinker was born in 1889 and died in 1975.  Charles and Sarah had a child together, Gertie Alice Stapleton (1906-1941). Sarah's parents raised Gertie and her half-brother, Paul Heck.  Sarah Blanche eventually married Leslie Rinker and had many more children. I have traced many, many Stapleton lines, but can't positively place this Charles Stapleton. I am assuming he would be around Sarah Blanche's age.  I have had no luck with census records.  I do have a photo of him posted in the Fisher Family album titled Jackson Fisher's Hunting Party.  He is the man on the right.  This is the only photo I have of him.
