Genealogy of the Woodcock Valley

Family Tree DNA is running a summer special from July 15 - July 21. The y-DNA37 test kit is $119, which is a $30 savings! As most of you know by now, there is an Isett DNA project underway.  If you would like to submit your Isett DNA, now is the time to do so! Funding is available for the first male descendant of Frederick Isett and Rebecca Markley who agrees to testing.  Please contact Bonnie Isett Gorman, a member of this site, for more information on the available funding. Female test kits are also available through Family Tree DNA.

Even if you are not an Isett descendent, and are interested in testing for any line of your family, you can check for a project associated with your surname by clicking on the Project Search box at the Family Treen DNA home page.

DNA testing is very simple - just a few cheek swabs!  The test kit is mailed to you, you collect the samples in your own home, mail them back, and wait for the results!  However, DNA testing is fairly expensive.  So, why not take advantage while the rates are reduced during this summer sale?
